| [ In A Blue Moon] by stoptocheerXander/Giles. Very cute and very funny. "Oh, lord," Giles suddenly said. "Xander. Whatever you do, don't look up. It says here-- I can't quite believe I didn't realise this before-- the demons, their name, roughly translated, is 'the bringers of lust', sort of a demonic cupid, they-- if someone becomes infected by their blood, they're overcome by uncontrollable urges to, ah, the first person they see--"
"What?" Xander exclaimed, as his thoughts caught up to exactly what Giles was saying, looking up at him.
Giles looked back.
Xander stared at him.

| [ Better The Moments You Know] by stoptocheerXander/Giles. Gentle, well-written fic. So here he was. At the end of all things, lying on his back in some scummy hotel room, hating every single molecule of his wretched self. Not even knowing what to do, or where to turn, or anything.
He couldn't go home. There was no way he could possibly face his parents after any of this. He couldn't ring Buffy, or Willow - they both knew what he'd done, and they'd both take Anya's side, and there was no way he could even think about blaming them. None of the guys from work would understand. He didn't really like the thought of ringing Mr and Mrs Riley and telling them how completely he'd screwed up all their good advice. And this was the sort of time when he really wished he'd had a guy-friend, a real, true, didn't get turned into a vampire and staked by Xander himself guy-friend. Someone like
Okay, so until right then, he hadn't actually thought to call Giles.

| [ Present Tense] by glossingGiles/Xander. Sweet little fic. "Hey, can I ask you something?" Xander says suddenly.
"Anything," Giles murmurs distractedly, enjoying the relaxation burgeoning within him.
"Are all Brits, like, bi, or is that just a cliche?"
